Privacy and research terms.
Draft for review against PIPEDA and CASL. Not a statement of legal compliance.
What we collect
When you take the review, we save your answers on our system under a random ID. We don't ask for your name for this part. We also save a copy on your own device so you can pick up where you left off.
If you ask for the full report, we also collect your first name, your work email and your organization's name, along with a record of exactly what you agreed to and when.
We never ask about a specific employee or a specific death, and there's nowhere in the review to type names.
Why we collect it
To show you your results, make your report and send it to you. If you joined our mailing list, to send you a few short emails about supporting people at work after a death. You can leave the list in one click, any time, and you keep your report.
Research
We may combine answers, with names and contact details removed, to describe bereavement practices among participating Canadian employers. We never show results for a group smaller than five, and we don't claim the results describe all Canadian employers.
Who sees it
Only Fare-Well Co. We use service providers to store data and send email. We don't sell your information.
How long we keep it
About 2 years, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Asking us to delete it
Reply to any email from us and tell us the email address you used. We'll delete your details and answers and let you know when it's done.
